Welcome! At Independence First United Methodist Church we’re striving, growing and taking intentional steps to be a people who are: Making disciples by Connecting Faith to Life through passionate worship, genuine fellowship and tangible outreach.

 

What does “Connecting Faith to Life” mean to us? It means that we’re endeavoring to live everyday lives informed by our faith (how we spend our time, what we put in our bodies, how we interact with others, how we vote, how we use our money) — lives marked by a faith that matters.

 

We do this by focusing on three major areas: we work hard to offer passionate worship that inspires, challenges and connects you with God. We offer natural ways for you to study with, work beside, and enjoy genuine fellowship with other people.  And we express Christ’s grace to our community and world through real, concrete, tangible outreach.
