I am a momma of 2 kids (one is a current starshine student, the other is a 1st grader) and have been married to my husband since 2013. I was able to stay home with my kids while they were younger and previously worked with a before and after school program as well as other preschool/daycare facilities. I love to travel and make memories with my family and friends. Starshine has become such a special place to me! Everyone here truly is like another family.

I've been married to my husband, Aaron, since 2003. We've been blessed with 4 amazing children who are involved in dance, karate, and soccer. We love being active! I've been teaching two and three year olds at Starshine since 2016. Kids have, and always will be, one of my biggest passions.

Mixed Pre-K
First, I am a boy mom, times three. I have been surrounded by handsome men since marrying my husband in 1992. We love spending time together and staying active.
Besides being a mom, I have always loved working with children. Since my first day here at Starshine in 2011, I knew this was my calling. I earned my Associates degree in 2012, with a teaching emphasis. As a preschool teacher, I love sowing seeds in a happy fun classroom that grow into a love of learning and of school. I want my students to know that God made them special, and that they are unique and loved.
Lisa Tracy
Pre-K
I am one of the Pre-k teachers here at Starshine. I grew up in Independence, graduating from Truman High school and started teaching Pre-K with Starshine in 2002. My husband and I got married here at IFUMC in 1995. We have one son Devin who attended Starshine and graduated from Truman as well. He now attends Fort Hays University. We have recently added a puppy named Gus to the mix.
In the Summer, my family spends a lot of time at Pomme de Terre Lake. We camp, fish and play on our boat.

Music
My husband (Michael) and I have been married for 10 years and have two little girls. Laken attends Starshine Preschool and Rylynn started kindergarten this year. I've been a Starshine momma for 3 years and excited to help kiddos find their love of music!
