Several Sunday School classes and fellowship groups geared towards adults are offered at Independence First.  All classes and ages meet for Sunday school at 9:00 AM weekly. Don’t miss the United Women in Faith's page.

 

Journey Sunday School Class

This group of  baby-boomers take turns leading various class topics each week. They meet in the library at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

Mizpah Sunday School Class

Mizpah, a Hebrew word, means Watchtower.  Founded in 1954, the class meets each Sunday in the Fellowship Hall; about 60 people usually attend.  Primarily older made up of retired or newly retired adults, however, all ages are welcome.  They study Cokesbury Adult Sunday School material. ​
